About

In 1874, Philip Showers built the “Tribble House,” as it was once called, adjacent to the General Adam Stephen House. The building was a three apartment structure, formally used as housing for B&O Railroad employees who were passing through town.

It is now a museum of artifacts and memorabilia from local historic collections. Items on permanent exhibit include early surveying equipment, flax and wool spinning wheels, quilts, railroad items, and various pieces related to the social and cultural life of 19th and early 20th century Martinsburg.
