About Us:
In 2002, local resident and Estacada Area Arts Commissioner Jami Berry first opened The Spiral Gallery. Estacada and the surrounding communities were so full of talented artists, she wanted a place to showcase their work. By mid-2004, Jami decided to turn the gallery into a cooperative. The artists agreed and it then became an artists' cooperative with full participation by all members.
The Spiral Gallery carries approximately 30 members' work. Each member brings a unique style and perspective in their art, creating a diverse array of mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, wood, steel, fabric, jewelry, clay and glass. From the most delicate jewelry to the largest piece of furniture, reflective landscapes to whimsical dancers, the Spiral Gallery members represent the diversity of talent at work in the Clackamas River Valley.
The Spiral Gallery has been a vital force in revitalizing Estacada’s downtown core. Empty storefronts are now filled up, and the street buzzes with excitement on the gallery’s First Friday events.
