Greene-Ziner Gallery was opened in 1996, located just north of Deer Isle village. In 2000, we relocated to our present location, on the Reach Rd at the north end of Deer Isle, where the gallery is in our 1820's post and beam barn.
Our gallery features primarily our own work, the painted ceramic vessels of Melissa Greene and Eric Ziner's forged iron furnishings. Eric also creates whimsical metal scuptures from salvaged farm tools and other metal components. In addition we also carry the work of various family members and a few other craftspeople.
It also features the colorful, handwoven, cotton rugs of Sara Hotchkiss, the framed, concrete, wall sculptures of Ralph Prata, and the crocheted garments of Hattie Barker.
