In 1979, Peter and Janice Maxson acquired Omar’s Custom Picture Framing in Costa Mesa, California. “Omar’s Framing” is still featured on our signage, and continues a tradition of excellence and service that has distinguished the gallery since the mid-sixties.
Peter’s Gallery has the distinction of being the last true “full-service” framing gallery serving southern Orange County and the Newport Coast cities of Newport Beach, Corona del Mar, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa and Irvine. Among its over 5000 picture frame corner samples, the gallery offers traditional cut-and-mitered construction wood frames; ready-made gallery frames; custom joined closed-corner decorative framing; custom wood finishes; museum-quality 22 karat gold leaf frames; as well as welded metal and leather finished frames.
