About Us
The Levittown Historical Society is a not-for-profit organization formed in 1988 to preserve the history of one of suburbias most famous developments. Its members are dedicated to collecting and archiving photographs, documents, stories, and a wide variety of artifacts that tell the story of who we are and where we came from.
One of the Societys most celebrated accomplishments is our Levittown History Museum located on the lower level of the Levittown Memorial Education Center. This extraordinary display features several complete rooms of actual furniture and appliances from Levitt homes dating back to the late 1940s and serves as a breathtaking tribute to Levittown's short, but significant history.
