About Us:
The Hart County Historical Society Museum and Genealogy Library is located in the historic 1893 Chapline Building on Main Street in Munfordville, Kentucky. The Society is a non-profit 501 (c)3 organization dedicated to the genealogical and historical research (including Civil War history), education and outreach plus the collection and interpretation of artifacts of Hart County and surrounding areas.
The Society publishes a quarterly which is sent to members, provides research services, supplies educational materials for teachers, and operates a small gift shop.
Free admission to the museum and library. Donations are greatly appreciated. The museum relies upon membership dues for continued operation.
