About Us

Harrybrooke Park is a spacious 48 acre non-profit park located in New Milford open to the public from dawn to dusk year-round at no charge. It features the Harden House Museum, two event pavilions, a duck pond, nature trails, wetlands, a walking/bicycling loop and scenic views of the Still River. It is a beautiful location to have a family or corporate picnic, wedding, or exercise, jog, walk, or hike along the Still River trail. The outdoor pavilions accommodate large parties such as weddings or company events. A wide variety of wild life call the park home and photographers and artists find endless subjects here. The Park and Museum on the property were bequeathed to the people of New Milford in 1965 by the late Frank Harden. Endowed by a trust fund, and governed by a Board of Managers, it receives no funding from the Town of New Milford. The Park relies heavily on volunteerism, community support and donations to remain open and beautiful while continuing to serve the public.
