Gulf Coast Museum Of Art

The Gulf Coast Museum of Art began in the 1930s as the "Art Section" of the Clearwater Women's Club in Clearwater, Florida. It later became an independent organization known as the Clearwater Art Club. In January of 1936, the organization formally incorporated as the Clearwater Museum Association. Consequently, the Museum is one of the oldest cultural institutions in the state of Florida.
