The Stone Athletic Center and The Grant Rink sit side-by-side and accommodate all of Lawrence Academy’s indoor sports, while eight playing fields, ten tennis courts,  and a cross-country course in different areas of the campus support outdoor athletics.

The hub of the school’s athletic activities, the 41,000-square-foot Stone Athletic Center houses two basketball courts, a volleyball court, a wrestling room, a climbing wall, a weight room and fitness facility, and modern athletic training and rehabilitation facilities, as well as administrative offices and shower and locker space for home and visiting teams, coaches, and officials.

The neighboring Grant Hockey Rink is meticulously maintained and has been the home to some of the area’s most memorable matchups in prep-school hockey during the last quarter century.

Outdoor athletics are focused in three areas of campus. Murbach Field is the home of the football and boys' lacrosse teams and also serves cross country and track and field events. The Spaulding-Stearns Fields are used for  field hockey, soccer, and lacrosse, and include a "skinned" infield softball field.

The Shumway Fields- located alongside Groton’s Main Street -- include the Baker Field, site for the baseball and boys' varsity soccer teams, and Martin Field, home for girls’ varsity soccer. Tennis courts are available in two locations, beside the Baker Field and overlooking Murbach Field.

Dance and theatre, offered as athletic choices, make use of the Richardson-Mees Performing Arts Center and a Black Box Studio in the Williams Arts Center.
