Information on:
Granger House Museum
The Granger House Museum is the only restored middle-class family home in the area, representing the American Victorian era. The house, built in the 1840s and occupied by a single family for nearly 100 years, showcases an extensive collection that includes many original furnishings. The 1879 brick carriage house, next to the family home, is a virtually untouched treasure and the only one of its design in the Midwest.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Granger House represents the lifestyle of a middle-class family living in late 19 th century Marion. The museum's guided tours, demonstrations, and seasonal activities bring our town's history to life.
