About Us

City Lights Artists’ Co-op is a Nevada nonprofit 501 (c) 3 corporation with more than 50 members.

Our corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes, under Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code, more specifically to:

To financially assist art education for children and seniors at community centers.

To produce several art shows during the year to generate funding for art education.

To maintain an art gallery for members to show and sell their work and for students to learn how to professionally present their work.

To provide art classes for student of all levels of art experience.

To provide scholarships to qualified graduating high school students needing financial assistance, toward a higher education in a 4 year or 2 year college.

Every individual should have access to art and culture in their daily lives. It's our goal to provide a link between art enthusiasts and the artists themselves.

From the outset, teaming with the city of Henderson, our project's goal was to enable visitors to not only understand the art we display, but also to generate group discussions about the pieces as a way to bring culture to the area, especially the area's students. We have forged partnerships over the years with both schools and the municipality and obtained many patrons who support this initiative.

City Lights Art Co-op is open to all. Our membership fee is $36.00 per year. Those wishing to hang at the gallery pay a fee based on the space needed.  Cost for a half panel is $20.00 per quarter.  The cost of a full panel is $35.00 per quarter.  A full panel is 1900 sq inches or about 44"x44".  Persons currently hanging are required to volunteer at the gallery one day per month for a full panel and a half day for a half panel.
