Artistic Designs Gallery is a locally owned small business in Brownsburg. We specialize in exquisite custom picture framing, corporate art consultation, original fine art, and exceptional art classes in our studio.
The business has been in operation since 1990 with a familiar name and reputation for exceptional quality craftsmanship, unique designs and the ability to frame nearly any object. Our clients have trusted us with their most precious possessions. Some of the most interesting projects include a gold bouillon, a guitar signed by John Cougar Mellancamp, an original T.C. Steele portrait, a wedding certificate from the 1800's, memorabilia from WWII, and 16th Century leaves from the first printing of a King James Pulpit Bible.
Laura and Lee Tesdahl bought the gallery from Joe and Debbie Ashby in March of 2010. Lee an industrial engineer and graduate from University of Madison, Wisconsin longed to own his own business and leave corporate America. He enjoys the framing and marketing aspect of the business. You can see learn more about Lee by looking what he's framed and displayed in his workspace. His Wisconsin Letter jacket, grips from his days as a gymnast and then of course his gigantic custom display case for his Lone Ranger Toy collection offer a few clues.
Laura a graduate of the University of Dayton puts her fine arts degree to work at the custom framing design counter and in the art studio. An artist and teacher, Laura enjoys creating opportunities for others to expand their creative horizons. She teaches classes in drawing and painting and coordinates classes and workshops with other local artists in a variety of media. Her botanical artwork is framed and exhibited in the gallery along with the original works of locally and nationally recognized artists.
