About Us :

Pelter Gallery specializes in fine American contemporary art. Founded by Susan O'Hanlan, the gallery opened its doors September of 2003. Susan's vision is to enhance and encourage interest and enthusiasm for contemporary art in the Greenville community and the visitors to this charming southern city. The gallery features thematic and one person exhibits and offers a variety of mediums, with the shows changing every three to four months.

It includes but is not limited to southeastern regional artists. Located on Main Street in downtown Greenville's West End Historic district, the Pelter Gallery is surrounded by restaurants and shops and is across from the beautiful Reedy River Falls and Cleveland Park.

The current show "Quiet is the New Loud" features abstract, organic images by Greenville artist Patti Brady complimented and contrasted by small traditional landscapes by deceased artists such as Ben Benn, Maude Drein Bryant, Walter Clark, Eliot Clark, Gladys Nelson Smith, Eugene Speicher, and William Posey Sylva. This show opened April 16th and will close July 31st.
