For over thirty years the Sayre family operated their general store in the village of Milford. Experience the daily life of early settlers in this wild, untamed land in the early 1800's. This period family, their interactions within the household and relationship to the greater Milford community are among the focuses of our dynamic programs.
The museum brings to life the historic interplay between the Sayre family and their customers. Today's visitors have the opportunity to experience this rich heritage firsthand.
